I can’t believe another year is coming to a close. This year has been an exciting one for me personally and for our family collectively. Our son Liam went off to college and we were face with “the empty nest” situation but at the same time our daughter Meredith and her family moved from Brooklyn to Massachusetts to be closer to family. Everyone is happy and all are thriving in their respective situations. Yay Team! I had a great year collaborating with my friend Matthew Mead and had the opportunity to grace the pages of his beautiful publications: Matthew Mead Upcycled Style and Finish Magazine with Matthew Mead and Wagner Paint. I’ve also stretched creatively and have been painting and designing more and more – perhaps that nest is not so empty!
Both Santa and Liam had a chance to decompress a bit before the family fun begins in earnest – first stop post college pick up for Liam was Jenness State Beach in Rye NH for a little cold weather surf sesh and as you can see by my artwork above, Santa too took to the waves rocking an amazing red wetsuit!
If you are looking for a little inspiration between the fun and chaos of holiday preparations grab a cup of something and sit down and look through this month’s Finish Magazine. You can find me tucked among the pages. Click here to read.
Wishing you all a Happy New Year and Merry Christmas. Thanks for being a part of my journey this year and I hope to share more with you in 2016.
