artist’s statement

Creating art is my way of telling the story of the people, places and things that cross my path or travel with me on my journey. I try to keep my eyes open to the little things in life that are delightful and then share my way of seeing them through a work of art, a carefully wrapped package or a vignette in a room. I am a self taught artist and have been making art my entire life but it has taken me a long time to call myself an artist. I work in acrylics, mixed media and collage and am always exploring and always experimenting with fresh ways to document and share my twist on how I see the world.
